Q.How long have you been shooting weddings?

A.I have been shooting weddings consistently since 2003.

Q.How did you get started?

A.I started out shooting for The Dallas Morning News, where I learned from some of the best in the business the art of photojournalism and the skill of capturing moments quickly and effectively.

Q.Do you have formal training?

A.Yes, I received my bachelor’s degree in photojournalism with a minor in art photography from the University of North Texas.

Q.What is your shooting style?

A.My personal style is a combination of photojournalism and art photography. I am focused on shooting with a candid, documentary style to capture the most important moments of your wedding day. I also specialize in creative portraiture with a magazine and fashion-styled flair.

Q.What kind of cameras do you use?

A.I use a Canon 5D Mark II 21 megapixel digital camera and a Canon 1DMark IIN digital camera.

Q.Do you have an assistant?

A.Yes, my wife, Aynsley, assists me allowing me to fully focus on you. Aynsley is there to keep my hands free, help with the portraits, and to handle lighting at your reception.

Q.Will you be photographing another wedding or event the same day as my wedding?

A.I do not photograph more than one wedding and/or event in a day because I place all of my energy and creativity on making beautiful memories of your day and your day alone.

Q.Are you willing to customize a package?

A.As no two brides or their weddings are alike, every wedding package is custom-tailored to suit your personal needs and desires. Cost is determined by what is included in your custom package. Our packages begin at $2300.00.

Q.Do you travel? What are your travel fees?

A.I have traveled throughout the US; fees are individually based on location. I will also travel internationally for destination weddings.

Q.Is retouching available?

A.Yes, retouching is available and is based on an hourly rate.
