Dallas Corporate PhotographerAs a way to help you in your search for the best Dallas corporate event photographer I have provided you with several corporate event photography blogs such as:

If you check out the blogs above you can get lots of help pointing you in the right direction as you search for your Dallas corporate event photographer. Finding the right photographer is a big deal and can sometimes be a very daunting experience, so hopefully this blog (along with the ones above) will help you through this decision.

Today, I wanted to write a blog about some of the big warning signs or red flags you should look for while on your search for your Dallas corporate event photographer.

Typically, the first thing you are going to do when searching for your event photographer is check out their Dallas corporate event photographer portfolio. A photographer’s portfolio is going to tell you a lot about them. It won’t tell you all you need to know about their personality, work ethic, reliability and professionalism, but it will tell you about their artistry and technical skills, which is a pretty good place to start. So, the portfolio is where we are going to begin today.

As you are looking for your event photographer, keep in mind the following red flags. If you start seeing these issues popping up throughout the portfolio then you know its time to move on. Your time is valuable so do not waste it on photographers that don’t have what it takes to cover your event and make your company stand out.

5 Warning Signs to Look Out For When Looking for a Dallas Corporate Event Photographer

Lack of Events: Let’s start off with the most obvious of the warning signs: a lack of events. Who wants to hire an event photographer who doesn’t have many events to show for themselves? Well, not you. If you are looking through a photographer’s portfolio and you notice that there are not many events featured, beware. A lack of events can be a sign of the following.

Inexperience: The last thing you want to do is take a chance on an inexperienced event photographer. You want a Dallas corporate event photographer who is going to make your company look the best it can be. You want someone who pays attention to details, understands corporate branding, has the technical skills, and can move quickly to ensure they get the important shots. Let the inexperienced photographers practice on someone else.

Lack of Work: A photographer’s portfolio is a sampling of the best of the best. So, if a photographer does not have a variety of work in their portfolio it tells you that they either do not photograph a lot of events, or that they do not have a lot of portfolio-worthy pictures. Either way, they are both big red flags.

When you are searching for your Dallas corporate event photographer you want to find someone who has a lot of experience photographing a wide variety of corporate events from small intimate events to large scale multi day events. You want a photographer who can handle whatever it is you throw at them. Warning Sign: You do not see a lot of different events in their portfolio.

I am just getting started to be sure to come back tomorrow to see the rest of the warning signs!
