Our Process: What to Expect

Once you’ve reached out, we can have a call to assess your needs, and make sure that our collaboration is a good fit.
Once the project is confirmed, Jason will set up a call to determine the best plan to create appetizing imagery. We will work through items such as lighting approach, backgrounds and surfaces, and can also determine a shot list and schedule that maximizes your deliverables. Communication is key for any successful project, and we strive to make sure our clients always are up to date on every step of the process.
When shooting on location, scouting the location in advance is critical to success and something that Jason prefers to do whenever possible. This is the time that you can iron out the logistics, as well as address any potential challenges, prior to the shoot day. Jason will walk the location with you, and we can collaborate on approach, make adjustments and do all of the necessary planning to make sure that the shoot day rolls smoothly.
This is the fun part! After all the planning and preparation, it’s time to make something beautiful. Jason and his team will work on set with you to create the photography and videography that highlights your food and brand in the most appetizing way possible. Collaboration is a top priority, as his goal is to make sure that everything being produced exceeds your expectations. Jason is also known for bringing lots of fun and energy to set. He has an amazing team of assistants and stylists who will craft amazing content that is on brand and on message, while having a great time doing it.
After we wrap shooting, typically in 1-2 weeks, you will be receiving your proof images via a private online gallery, where you will be able to select the images for final retouching. Jason has an incredibly talented team of retouchers that give the images the final polish, and he also reviews each image and makes additional adjustments as needed before final delivery.
