Dallas Photographer: Gourmet Lobster or Nuclear Waste
There are multiple aspects that go into making a photo great. You have to consider the composition, the layering, the contrast, the subject matter, the details, the textures, the emotion, the angle, the focal point, the artistry and of course the color.
Dallas Photographer's Take on Fresh Flowers for Valentine's Day
Speaking of flowers, I figured I would share some Dallas commercial photography of a few Valentine's Day arrangements with you today, since it is all about the love, and I love these arrangements. I have a fantastic custom florist whom I shoot arrangements for, and each year they only get more creative.
An Interview with Jason - Part I
As legend would have it, photographer in Dallas Jason Kindig’s first words were “Nikon,” and the obsession only grew from there... Well, it didn’t exactly happen that way, but my first camera was an old manual Nikon film camera. I loved that sucker, light leaks and all. Dallas Photographer; Colorfully Exotic Spring Fashion
The theme for this particular shoot was spring fashion, which generally means two things. For one, there will be great color to work with, and I love color. The second? Cold weather. Yes, we do in fact have that in Texas, though it may pale in comparison to our northern neighbors. Nevertheless, a model in a light spring dress outside when it is cold and windy can get tricky, and I feel so terrible watching them starting to shiver.
Enjoy Some Christmas Cheer!
There is nothing like Christmas.
There are so many parts that make this time of year special, and Aynsley and I really enjoy Christmas time. There are of course so many things, like the dinners, presents, and just the feeling that happens this time of year. We love giving to others whenever we can too, so it is a fun challenge for her and I to get gifts for our family that are personal for them.
Memories of My Grandfather
I wanted to continue blogging on my recent trip to Ohio, and being the Dallas photographer I am, I will also share some of the images that I took. Last time I spoke about the beautiful fall colors that Aynsley and I got to enjoy, but I wanted to focus this particular blog on my grandfather.
