Dallas Food Photographer: Sky High Cuisine
I took interiors for the Sky Canyon restaurants at Dallas Love Field Airport and DFW International Airport. Both spaces have very warm and relaxed interiors with a distinct Texas flair, quite how I would describe chef Stephan Pyles, who developed the concept. However, no matter how beautiful the interior of a restaurant, at the end of the day it is all about the food.

I don’t know that there are enough adjectives in this world to describe various dishes from this feature. The reason? The subject matter was macaroni and cheese. If you are anything like me, you probably just drooled a little bit when you read that sentence. That is unless you don’t like cheese, in which case I weep for you.

As a Dallas photographer, it is important to be able to understand light in all of its forms, and to really understand lighting in general, even with, nay especially with strobes, you have to understand natural light.
