Dallas Event Photography - Are You Ready?!?

Are you ready? I said, Are. You. READY!!?! Sorry, clearly the lack of sporting events is making me feel like a pump up is necessary, though I don’t know if that’s the exact reason you are here. So where were we? Oh yes, are you ready? And no, I don’t mean do you have a 5-year supply of toilet paper on hand. Are you ready to get this party started!?

I mean guys, we are going to beat this thing. Even if there are flare ups and it takes a while to tamp down this virus, we are going to get there, and I think the economy will start rolling again in a big way.

You may call me hopelessly optimistic, and maybe that’s what happens when the Dallas event photography industry, along with so many others, has been shut down for a few months, and you are forced to stay indoors for an equal amount of time. But then there it is - the glimmer of sunshine at the end of the pandemic-lined tunnel.

I can assure you, I cannot wait. I love my rest time, but I am still at my core a pretty restless person. Thankfully I’ve been able to pour all of this untapped energy into home projects inside and out, which is not only something I love to do, but really helps stimulate my brain and also makes our home a much more inviting and beautiful place to be once we can actually have people over to our house again. So being out on the streets as a Dallas event photographer, and starting to travel again for both work and recreation is going to be incredible.

I am fully confident that our economy will get rolling, even if it takes some elbow grease to start the gears turning again. I think everyone is going to be so ready (All of the Dallas event photographers definitely will be!), and be so fired up to get businesses moving, marketing efforts in full swing and get this party cranked.

So what do you think? Do you think it’s going to be a long and slow recovery, or that we will get moving relatively quickly? Again, I know I’m an optimist, and by no means an expert, but you also have to remember that we are Americans. We really come together when the chips are down, and this pandemic has really shown that. I think we will take that same grit and resolve when it comes to reviving the economy, and push everything to the next level. Here we go!
