Happy Easter, Y’all!
Two sisters playing in the tulips. My heart melted the second I saw this one on the back of my camera
Well, we are still all in this Coronavirus craziness. I would have never thought that this virus would have done what it has. I’ve never seen something that is so calculating and merciless, and it has wreaked such havoc. ThankfulIy this Dallas photographer and my family have not contracted it, but I am definitely feeling the economic impact. I have never sat still in the month of April.
Typically my family just knows that I’m going to be working a ton on my photography in Dallas and everyone, especially my wife will have to work to keep things running during this season.
However, this year is remarkably different.
That leads me to two points: one, my kids are really cute, and I just wanted to show a few Easter pics of them. I guarantee it will brighten your day up, even if just a little bit, plus how can you not smile at those crazy kiddos? We were fortunate to head down to the Dallas Arboretum and do a Dallas photography session right as corona was beginning to infiltrate. I think the Arboretum was closed either the next day or a few days after to prevent transmission and spread, so I am incredibly thankful we got to see the beautiful tulips, and experience the nature that God has provided us.
That leads me to my next point: God is in control. This is a scary time, I have dealt with my own bout fear through this, but I am coming to a place of peace knowing HE is in control. He promises to take care of us, and I don’t know the timing, or what that looks like, but I have to trust Him in His promise. We consider ourselves very blessed to have family, a house and food, so I am just coming from a place of thankfulness.
It is going to be a weird Easter, as typically there are egg hunts, tons of pastel colors everywhere, and visions of my wife gathering her annual hoard of Cadbury eggs. So much has changed, but thankfully God has not. Even if we can’t gather together in person, Jesus still died on the cross for our sins, mine and yours, and I’m thankful for that. He is bigger than any virus, and He will take care of us. My prayer is that we would all seek out Jesus in this time, as He will bring peace and comfort, even when those things feel like something more rare than toilet paper. Be blessed y’all!
My kids seem to think we were shooting an editorial or something. My son is posing like a boss
Happy Easter from the Kindig’s!
